Appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Astrobank Ltd in 2017.
Mr. Partassides studied at University College London where he obtained a BSc in Economics. Subsequently he obtained an MSc in Shipping Trade and Finance from City University Business School of London.
With the completion of his studies he joined the Credit Management department of Alpha Bank Cyprus Ltd before returning to London to work at the audit firm Moore Stephens Chartered Accountants for three years. He qualified as an associate chartered accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and since 2013 he holds the designate of Fellow Chartered Accountant. In 2002 he returned to Cyprus where he assumed the position of Financial Controller of Galatariotis Brothers Ltd and its subsidiaries, a position which he holds until today. He is a member of ICPAC and holds the International Directors Banking Programme Certificate from INSEAD.
