Appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of AstroBank Public Company Limited in 2017. Studied Law at King’s College, University of London from where she obtained an LLB (Hons) degree. She is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Ms Dionyssiades commenced her career in London with the accounting firm KPMG where she worked for a number of years.
On returning to Cyprus she was employed in a managerial position by KPMG Nicosia and in 1994 she joined Hellenic Bank Cyprus which she served for a number of years from various managerial positions. In 2000 she took on the position of General Manager of Marfin Securities Cyprus Ltd until 2002 when she joined Emporiki Bank Cyprus as Chief Financial Officer. In 2005, upon the acquisition of Emporiki Group by Credit Agricole SA, one of Europe’s largest retail banking Groups , she was appointed Executive Director and Senior Manager in charge of Finance, Planning, Dealing Room, Organisation and Methods, IT, HR et al. In 2008 she was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, a position which she held for a number of years. Following the acquisition of Emporiki Group by Alpha Bank in 2013 she served Alpha Bank from a managerial position until 2016 when she withdrew from the Group. She has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Cyprus Banks.
