AstroBank awarded for its Corporate Social Responsibility programme

The Company was a winner at the 13^th IN Business Awards

AstroBank received an award for its “Corporate Social Responsibility” programme at the 13^th IN Business Awards, held on 30 June 2021. This recognition is a testament to the Bank’s long-standing and multifaceted contribution to the country and its people, while it is especially valuable as it comes from Cyprus’ top business institution and is based on the public vote.

The ceremony was attended by ministers, MPs and top business executives as well as the President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, who in his speech stressed the ongoing importance of this institution that honours entrepreneurship.

In his acceptance speech, AstroBank CEO Mr Aristides Vourakis said that social contribution is an indispensable part of the bank’s DNA. He also referred to a series of initiatives that were taken up and aim to boost sectors such as Health, the Environment, Society, and Youth Entrepreneurship. Moreover, he thanked both the award ceremony’s organisers as well as the public, whose votes honoured the Bank’s multifaceted actions, and confirmed that these will continue with the same momentum, with a focus on both the people and society as a whole.
