AstroBank being faced with the challenges of this contemporary era, and in an attempt to adapt to the changing conditions of the industry, has moved forward with the project "Paperless Cashier" implemented in all of its branches. The new digital service offers a unique experience of executing in-branch transactions over the counter, improving the quality of service customers as well as lead times. Additionally, this service enhances the environmental consciousness of AstroBank, since till transactions can now be performed with significant decrease if usage of disposable materials, like paper and ink. The whole procedure is not only innovative technologically, but is also friendly towards the environment and is a crucial part of the overall Corporate Social Responsibility strategy of the Bank.
What is the Paperless Cashier service and what does it provide to the customer?
The customer visiting an AstroBank branch to perform over-the-counter transactions (deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers etc.) signs on a tablet instead of paper. The digitally-signed transaction is then sent to the personal email of the customer giving them the option to save it on their desktop or on their mobile device for easy a future search. In the case the customer does not wish to receive the receipt electronically, they can request for a printed receipt.
